Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Ikaika
was old enough to be excited about
opening presents, even though he waited
to open his gifts that morning, he
preferred to watch a movie instead.
LOL!
But when he opened his gifts, he was
so happy with it he didn't
want to open the next one.ha ha.We
spent some time in the snow and
he loved it.

christams is in the air

Christmas parties are starting, only a few more
weeks till Christmas day! We had a lot of fun,
Santa came and gave everyone presents, Ikaika
was terrified of him, actually a lot of little kids
screamed at the thought of having to sit onSanta's
lap.lol! There was good food, a dip Mal's
mom made, that was to die for. I think a couple
of us ate mostly that, instead of
the main course. ha ha!We had our Christmas
auction at the end of the night,
Grandma Heidi ended up with a blanket and
a Christmas star decoration.

getting ready for christmas

Now that Thanksgiving is over,we've started setting up for Christmas,
one of my favorite holidays! Ikaika helped both
his grandparents decorate their trees, though we only
have pictures at my parents house. The most fun was putting
up and taking down the same few ornaments he had. He loved
the lights and round ornaments, which he refers to as ball..ha ha.
Though i don't think he helped his grandparents as much
as he thought, they had a blast.

fun stuff

We went and saw the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir and Sterling Singers last Saturday. The performance was great. It was only an hour which was kind of nice, because it wasn't too short or too long. The event was held in the tabernacle. I loved it, the songs were played and sung beautifully. Definitely worth going to. Actually i didn't realize but the church has a lot of events you can go see all month. Some you don't even need tickets for. It's a fun date night or family night. some events had an age limit. Ikaika wasn't able to go with us but i don't think he would have been able to sit through it or think it was as cool as i did. ha ha.

Also we went and saw Body World awhile back and that was really cool. If you haven't gone, you still have time. It was really neat, a little creepy. I didn't want to eat for a day after that, but i did have a good time. It's amazing what we can do in this day and age, how they are able to preserve these donated bodies and use them for education.
