need for sun!!!

With all the snow and cold
weather in Utah, I've been missing
the warmth and sun.
As a last minute decision, Ikaika
and I took a trip down to Vegas
with my father in law and
visited Justin's side of the fam.
(our fam, same difference)
We had a lot of fun and i
sat out in the sun as much
as possible and Ikaika
got to play with his cousins
every day.
The pictures are in reverse, starting
with the trip home.

Ikaika was a great traveler
to and from Vegas.
He slept most of the way
there and half of the way back.

ikaika was telling her all
about one of his favorite movies

Year 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Cant believe it's already a new year! Now fresh new year resolutions to keep or break whichever you do. Preferably i do neither. Justin has decided to see if he can kick his coca cola habit. He gave himself at least 6 months.
We didn't ring in the new year with a blast, we had some goodies, spent time with family and watched movies all night. Ikaika was actually awake at midnight. he fell asleep at 9:30 and woke up just before the new year. It was too cold to want to see any fireworks, so we listened to them in the background...ha ha.
We hope you all had a fun New Years!

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Ikaika
was old enough to be excited about
opening presents, even though he waited
to open his gifts that morning, he
preferred to watch a movie instead.
LOL!
But when he opened his gifts, he was
so happy with it he didn't
want to open the next one.ha ha.We
spent some time in the snow and
he loved it.

christams is in the air

Christmas parties are starting, only a few more
weeks till Christmas day! We had a lot of fun,
Santa came and gave everyone presents, Ikaika
was terrified of him, actually a lot of little kids
screamed at the thought of having to sit onSanta's
lap.lol! There was good food, a dip Mal's
mom made, that was to die for. I think a couple
of us ate mostly that, instead of
the main course. ha ha!We had our Christmas
auction at the end of the night,
Grandma Heidi ended up with a blanket and
a Christmas star decoration.

getting ready for christmas

Now that Thanksgiving is over,we've started setting up for Christmas,
one of my favorite holidays! Ikaika helped both
his grandparents decorate their trees, though we only
have pictures at my parents house. The most fun was putting
up and taking down the same few ornaments he had. He loved
the lights and round ornaments, which he refers to as ball..ha ha.
Though i don't think he helped his grandparents as much
as he thought, they had a blast.
