Emergency Preparedness

We finally got around to using the big old water drums we got forever ago and store our emergency supply of water. (by "we" i mean my parents and us) Our ward was passing them out and wanting to be prepared i signed up to take a few. Well needless to say, we didn't really know what we were doing so the barrels sat by the house for months or was it years???

But now thanks to our emergency fair for our ward, they reminded us to stop procrastinating and get the work done. We figured out what we needed to do and thanks to my parents initiative, it all got done and if we have an emergency we'll have plenty of water for all of us! Plus we don't have empty barrels sitting next to the house anymore! Now if we can just get rid of the rest of the stuff aka junk my dads holding on to...... lol

My best friend and her girlfriend were in town for a week and with all this great summer weather, we went to the best park in West Jordan, Heritage Park. We had a ton of fun running around and getting ice cream at artic circle afterwards. Ikaika and I shared the birthday cake shake, it wasn't as good as i had hoped but ikaika loved it! sugar is sugar i guess, lol!

Congrats Graduates!

it's summer time and graduation is in the air! Justin and I were able to attend two, First his little brother Stockton an Alta graduate and Cory (my best friends baby brother) a bingham graduate! We made some Hershey kiss lei's for the both of them, you can see pics of Stockton's, but i don't have any of Cory's yet. It's basically the same thin but binghams blue and white colors.

The studly Stockton on his way to pick up his diploma! That's the lei we put together for him. Go Hawks!
The second graduate Cory and his sister Jamie my bff and his brother Kyle.

Jamie, Lisa, Steve,Cory and kyle

Cory on the big screen

The only thing that was bad about the graduation was principle hicks hour long speech! yikes, nothing has changed. Binghams ceremony was 2 1/2 hours while Alta's was 1 1/2. I think everyone was ready to run for the hills by the end of it!

The whole family! I think most of us are looking at the camera?

the fam pic without Heidi cuz we had lost her for awhile in that building

great grandpa and grandma berry, Stockton, his dad and Grandpa and grandma berry

my very oh so handsome honey and me

more family pics

The graduations were a ton of fun, it really brought me back to the old days of high school. All these dreams and hopes all the graduates have, ready to step out into the world on their own. Good luck to you all!
